At the very outset, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that, with respect to the grievances/claims raised on behalf of the petitioner in the present writ petition, the appropriate forum shall be the Armed Forces Tribunal, Kolkata.

In above view of the matter as also in view of the provisions contained in Section 34 of The Armed Forces Tribunal Act, 2007, he seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the present writ petition with a liberty to file an appropriate petition before the aforesaid Armed Forces Tribunal, Kolkata for grant of appropriate relief(s) to the petitioner.

Permission is accorded.

The writ petition stands disposed of as withdrawn with the liberty aforesaid.
