We are absolutely distressed to note that the Supply Appeal No. 14 of 2021, which was filed on 10.03.2021 has not yet been disposed of.

Mr. Ojha, learned Advocate for the petitioner has brought on record the order sheet of the court of the appellate authority, which reflects that the appellate authority has not been able to hold his court for all this while.

Patna High Court CWJC No.6906 of 2022 dt.03-08-2022 2/2 Perhaps, this was the reason for a co-ordinate Bench of this Court to observe that some other provision be made in the Control Order so that such appeals do not remain pending before authorities for such a long period.

Be that as it may, we direct the appellate authority to dispose of this appeal by a reasoned order positively within a period of sixty days from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, failing which this Court shall take an adverse view of the matter.

With the aforesaid direction/observation the writ petition stands disposed of.
