JUSTICE PURNENDU SINGH ORAL ORDER 10-05-2023 Mr. Dr. Mahtab Ahmad, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner informs this Court that he has already filled up the Pre-requisite Form required for the purposes of payment of Employee Provident Fund amount.
2. It is further informed that in a short span of time, he will seek instruction to obtain no objection from all the other heirs of the deceased employee namely Late Vinod Kumar Nathani. Late Vinod Kumar Nathani had retired in harness in the year 2010, while he was posted as Branch Manager in Uttar Bihar Gramin Bank, Kalambagh Road, Muzaffarpur. His death was taken place on 26th October, 2010.
3. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the
Patna High Court CWJC No.6928 of 2022(5) dt.10-05-2023 2/2 Employee Provident Fund Organization (hereinafter referred to as the Organization) submits that once the petitioner produces no objection from the other heirs of the deceased employee, the amount will be credited into the account of the petitioner within a further period of one week.

Considering the rival submissions of the parties, the present writ petition is disposed of with direction to the Regional Provident Fund Commissioner, Regional Office, Muzaffarpur, who will ensure the payment of the Employee Provident Fund amount payable to the deceased employee along with statutory interest within a period of two weeks from the date of filing of no objection by the petitioner.
5. The writ petition stands disposed of.
