The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Matihani P.S. Case no. 06 of 2017, registered under Section 414/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
The accusation is that in course of checking of the vehicle one motorcycle was seen coming in fast speed. On giving the signal to stop the motorcycle, the driver of the vehicle and pillion rider started fleeing leaving the motorcycle. Thereafter, attempt was made to catch them, but they succeeded to flee away. The motorcycle was seized and on enquiry, the local Chowkidar disclosed the name of both the petitioners, who succeeded to flee away.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that both the petitioners have no criminal antecedent and due to dirty local politics,
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.18877 of 2017 (4) dt.01-08-2017 2/2 the name of the petitioners have been disclosed by the local Chowkidar Amresh Paswan and Bhola Paswan.
Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioners, be released on bail, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the ACJM-III, Begusarai in connection with Matihani P.S. Case No. 06 of 2017, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C.
