The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Chainpur P.S. Case No. 44 of 2020 dated 04.02.2020 instituted for the offence under Section 37 (1) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018.

The name of the petitioner has been disclosed by one Rakesh Kumar who is said to have been arrested on the suspicion of having consumed liquor.

Regard being had to the nature of accusation against the petitioner and his being a person of clean antecedent which fact has been stated in paragraph-3 of the bail petition, he is directed to be

released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of eight weeks from the date of this order on his furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten Thousand) with two sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.D.J. 2nd cum Special Judge, Excise Act, Kaimur at Bhabua in connection with Chainpur P.S.
