The instant application for regular bail has been filed by the petitioner in connection with Jandaha P.S. Case No. 263 of 2022 instituted for the offence punishable under Sections 307, 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of Arms Act.

Earlier the application for regular bail of the petitioner was rejected by order dated 20.06.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 14323 of 2023 with an observation to learned trial court to expedite the trial and conclude the same as soon as possible.

No.27652 of 2024(3) dt.21-06-2024 2/2 In pursuance to the direction of this Court, a report, dated 03.06.2024, with regard to present stage of trial has been received and the same is kept at flag 'R'. From its perusal it appears that the trial is committed to the Court of session.

No fresh ground is made for reconsideration of the regular bail of the petitioner. Accordingly, prayer for grant of regular bail is rejected.

Accordingly, petition stands disposed off.

However, learned trial court is directed to conclude the trial within 6 months., failing which, the petitioner will be at liberty to renew his prayer of bail.
