2. With the consent of parties, this writ application is being disposed of at this stage itself.

3. Learned counsel appearing for respondents-State submits that as a consequence of order dated 15.05.2025 passed in this case, the District Magistrate, West Champaran, Bettiah

Patna High Court CWJC No.15625 of 2013(4) dt.31-07-2025 2/3 vide Letter No.1674/Legal dated 16.05.2025 has directed the Municipal Commissioner, Nagar Nigam, Bettiah and the Circle Officer, Bettiah to inquire into the matter and submit joint report with regard to the question raised by this Court. He further submits that in compliance of this directive, the Municipal Commissioner of Nagar Nigam, Bettiah vide his Letter No.2033 dated 02.07.2025 has initiated a Land Encroachment Case No.01 of 2025-26 and further action is being taken by issuing notice to the encroachers. This has been brought on record by way of Annexure-R/D Series to the counter affidavit filed by respondent no.1 to 4.

4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that this writ application may be disposed of directing the Municipal Commissioner of Nagar Nigam, Bettiah to decide the Land Encroachment Case No.01 of 2025-26 expeditiously.

5. As prayed for by learned counsel for the petitioner and agreed by learned counsel appearing for respondents-State, this writ application is disposed of with a clear direction to the Municipal Commissioner of Nagar Nigam, Bettiah to decide the Land Encroachment Case No.01 of 2025-26 within six months from the date of production of the copy of this order by the petitioner.
