2. In the instant petition, petitioner has prayed for following reliefs:

"1. That the present writ application is being filed in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to re-measure the height of Petitioner who has been rejected from the selection of Advertisement No.-01/2019 issued by respondents, on the vary ground that she is having less height in measure, by 0.5 cm i.e. 154.5 cm. But she has measure the same as 155.2 CM for three places outside venue including government hospital."

3. The petitioner is a candidate for the recruitment to the post of Police Sub-Inspector . She has been disqualified as she has failed to fulfill the minimum height measurement of 155 cm. Further, initial height test was conducted in which her height was measured as 154.5 cm. Once again she was subjected to height measurement in appeal in which it was found that her height measurement was 154.2. The petitioner has obtained certificate from the doctor who has assigned the height of the petitioner as 155.1 cm.

4. In the light of these facts and circumstances, the concerned respondent is hereby directed to conduct height measurement afresh. The same shall be conducted within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of this order. Such height measurement shall be initiated immediately as and when it is conducted to the petitioner.

5. With the above observations, the instant petition stands disposed of.
