2. Learned Senior counsel appearing for the petitioner

Patna High Court CWJC No.16517 of 2013(5) dt.18-08-2025 2/3 submits that the main relief claimed in the writ application has been substantially redressed in favour of the petitioner but during the pendency of the writ application, the Accountant General, Bihar has further reduced the pay/pension of the petitioner contrary to the decision of the state government. For redressal of this grievance relating to reduction of pay/pension of the petitioner, the petitioner has filed an interlocutory application bearing IA No. 4941 of 2018. However, while advancing argument, learned Senior counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would be satisfied if the petitioner is granted liberty to file a detailed representation before the Accountant General, Bihar, Patna (respondent no.

5) for seeking the relief as is being claimed through IA No. 4941 of 2018. Learned Senior counsel further submits that an appropriate direction may be given to the Accountant General, Bihar, Patna to decide the representation within a fixed time frame after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.

3. Learned counsel appearing for the State does not have any objection to this prayer being made by learned Senior counsel appearing for the petitioner.

4. Considering the limited nature of prayer being made by leaned Senior counsel appearing for the petitioner, the

Patna High Court CWJC No.16517 of 2013(5) dt.18-08-2025 3/3 present writ application is disposed of granted liberty to the petitioner to file a detailed representation before the Accountant General, Bihar, Patna within fifteen days from the date of passing of this order claiming the relief which the petitioner has claimed in IA No. 4941 of 2018 and if such a representation is filed by the petitioner within the time stipulated then, the Accountant General, Bihar, Patna shall decide the same on merit within a period of three months thereafter after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. If the Accountant General, Bihar, Patna comes to a conclusion that some amount is required to be paid to the petitioner then, the said amount shall be paid within one month from the date of the final decision passed by the Accountant General, Bihar, Patna.
