2. The petitioner is apprehending arrest in connection with Excise P.S. Case No. 298 of 2025, dated 13.03.2025, lodged under Sections 30(a), 30(d), 32(3), 41(1) and 41(2) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016.
3. As per the prosecution, total recovery of 45 litres of illicit liquor and 35 litres of illicit spirit has been made from the vehicle, which belongs to the petitioner.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. Counsel further submits that the petitioner had given his vehicle to another person for some work and was completely unaware that his motorcycle was being used for any illegal purpose. It is

However, the petitioner is ready and willing to comply with all conditions that may be imposed by this Hon'ble Court.
5. Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner and submits that the criminal antecedent of the petitioner is not clean, as there are three criminal cases pending against him, all of which are related to excise matters.
6. In the present facts and circumstances, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is hereby rejected.
