2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Arwal P.S. Case No. 82 of 2025 registered for the offence under Sections 8(c) and 21(a) of the NDPS Act.

3. There is recovery of 2.16 grams of brown sugar from the possession of the petitioner which is of small quantity and the petitioner is in custody since 07.03.2025.

4. This application is disposed of with direction to the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Jehanabad to explain to the petitioner/accused the fact that the recovery is of small quantity and the maximum punishment is one year and if he

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.26730 of 2025(2) dt.05-05-2025 2/2 pleads guilty, he may be let off after completing a particular period in custody. If the petitioner pleads guilty, appropriate order shall be passed by the Court below.

5. In case, the petitioner does not plead guilty, the petitioner shall be released on bail by the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Jehanabad.
