This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the Respondent-Bihar Urban Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited for making full and final payment in favour of the petitioner against execution of the work of renovation and modification of Real Estate Appellate Tribunal Office at Pant Bhawan, Patna, pertaining to an agreement executed on 20.08.2019.

It is admitted at the Bar that the amount has since been paid to the petitioner during the pendency of this application.

Mr Ashok Kumar Choudhary, learned senior counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, however, contends that the petitioner is entitled for interest for belated payment of the admitted dues.

The petitioner shall be at liberty to raise a claim of interest before appropriate authority by making a representation to be considered in accordance with law.
