The petitioner seeks bail in Sangrampur P.S. Case No. 70 of 2020, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is a case of dowry death. Petitioner is father-in-law of the deceased.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that thrust of allegation is against husband of the deceased. Petitioner is father-in-law of the deceased and he is living separately and has no concern with the family affairs of the deceased and her husband. There is general and omnibus allegation. Petitioner is in custody since 28.12.2020 having no criminal antecedent. Chargesheet has already been submitted.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.35255 of 2021(2) dt.08-12-2021 2/2 and the fact that petitioner is father-in-law of the deceased and there is general and omnibus allegation, the petitioner abovenamed, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Munger in connection with Sangrampur P.S. Case No. 70 of 2020.
