Petitioners seek bail in Barhat P.S. Case No.42 of 2017 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 417, 465, 467, 468, 471 Indian Penal Code.

In the written report, it is alleged that six students, as named in the written report, had taken admission in Jawahar Navoday Vidyalaya, Barht, Jamui, in Class VI, in the year 2006 on the basis of forged Transfer Certificates issued by the Principal of Madhya Vidyalaya, Sikandara, produced by their guardian as named in the written report.

Counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners are

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.25091 of 2019(2) dt.22-04-2019 2/2 not named in the written report. During investigation, they have been arrested by the police. The police recorded their confessional statement. They have been arrested because they are father and uncle of one student, namely, Amrendra Shekhar. In the facts and circumstances of the case, prayer of the petitioners for grant of bail is allowed. Let the petitioners, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Jamui, in connection with Barhat P.S. Case No.42 of 2017, subject to the condition that both the bailors shall be close relative of the petitioners.
