Learned counsel for the State has pointed out that the heirs of the original petitioner have already been paid the arrear of salary from 1.1.1989 to January, 2009 and the PPO and the GPO has also been issued in favour of the petitioners. The grievance of the petitioner is that the service should have been treated from the year 1982 instead of 1989. This issue can only be raised before the authority

Patna High Court MJC No.4595 of 2014 dt.21-06-2017 concerned by filing a proper application.

This Court does not find any purpose to keep the matter pending. Accordingly, this contempt proceeding is dropped with a direction to the opposite parties that the present petitioner should be paid the arrear of pension, if not already paid.
