2. In the instant petition, petitioner has prayed for the following relief/reliefs:
"(i) For direction upon the respondents to consider the petitioner's case for promotion on seniority cum merit basis as Lower Division Clerk (LDC) (Group 'C' Post) from the present post of Daftari, a Group 'D' Post on which petitioner is working in the office of the respondent, The Superintendent of Police, Saran, Chapra as a compassionate appointee. (ii) For further direction upon the respondents to consider the petitioner's case for promotion on 15% quota reserved for working Group D employees on their seniority cum merit basis and in view of specific recommendation made by the respondent The Superintendent of Police, Saran at Chapra in
Patna High Court CWJC No.9399 of 2020 dt.04-01-2022 2/2 the compassionate committees meeting dated 06.12.2019 and recommendation made vide letter bearing memo no. 06 dated 04.01.2020(Annexure-7) issued from the office of the respondent, The Superintendent of Police, Saran at Chapra. (iii) For consequently direction upon the respondents to pay the petitioner all the consequential benefits arising there to with interest and cost.
(iv) For grant of any other relief/reliefs which the petitioner may deem entitled to in the facts and circumstances of the case."
3. The grievance of the petitioner relates to promotion and other issues and it is pending consideration on the file of 6th Respondent, The Superintendent of Police, Saran at Chapra. He/she is hereby directed to decide the petitioner's grievance within a period of three months from the date of receipt of this order in passing a speaking order as to whether petitioner is entitled to the relief sought in the present petition or not?
