2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Bettiah Town P.S. Case No. 706 of 2022, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 323, 324, 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code and section 27 of the Arms Act.

3. As per prosecution, petitioner is said to have fired upon the victim due to which he became unconscious and taken to the hospital.

4. Learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner relies upon the supplementary affidavit in support of the fact that the informant/victim has deposed and he has said that the petitioner is his friend and has nothing to do with the present occurrence. The petitioner is in custody since 29.11.2024.

5. Learned APP has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the aforesaid fact of the case, this application is allowed.

7. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, West Champaran, Bettiah, in connection with Bettiah Town P.S.
