The present petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs :- "(i) For issuance of order, direction or writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ for directing the respondents to treat the appointment of the petitioner on the class III post of 'Amin' as 'promotion' instead of 'provisional appointment' and consequently fix his pay scale along with the benefit of increment etc. from the date of his promotion. (ii) For issuance of order, direction or writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ for

Patna High Court CWJC No.17822 of 2015(2) dt.21-09-2023 2/2 directing the respondents to pay the difference of arrears of salary after fresh fixation of his pay from the date of his appointment on the post of Amin (12.02.14) to the date of his superannuation (31.10.14). (iii) For issuance of order, direction or writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ for directing the respondents to consequently pay the difference of arrears of pension of the petitioner from the date of his superannuation to the present day. "

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the respondent authorities for redressal of his subsisting grievances, if any. Liberty so sought, is granted.

The writ petition stands disposed off.
