JUSTICE JITENDRA KUMAR ORAL ORDER 22-11-2024 The present petition has been preferred by the petitioner/accused for quashing of the impugned order dated 20.09.2016, passed by Sri K.D. Rajaji, learned A.C.J.M.-IV, Sitamarhi in Dumra P.S. Case No. 78 of 2013, whereby charge has been framed against the petitioner under Sections 341, 323, 427, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the O.P. No. 2/informant submit that the matter has been compromised between the parties and they have filed a joint compromise petition with affidavit, which is taken across the Board. They also submit that all the alleged offences are compoundable.

3. In view of the aforesaid compromise petition between the parties and in the interest of justice, criminal proceeding arising out of Dumra P.S. Case No. 78 of 2013, registered on 02.04.2013 for offence punishable under Sections 341, 323, 427, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code is quashed.
