By filing the present writ application, the petitioner has prayed for issuance of a writ preferably in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondents concerned to make payment of due amount of differential salary which is due as the petitioner was promoted but the differential salary was not paid to him till date without any valid reason.

3. At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the

Patna High Court CWJC No.7540 of 2023 dt.20-03-2024 2/2 respondent authorities for redressal of his aforesaid grievance. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

4. The petitioner is directed to file a detailed representation before the Registrar, Bhupendra Narayan Mandal University, Madhepura (respondent no. 6) along with all supporting documents within a period of two weeks and the respondent no.6 is well advised to consider the case of the petitioner after affording opportunity of personal hearing or through his counsel and pass a reasoned and speaking order in accordance with law within eight weeks thereafter.

5. It is made clear that respondent no.6 shall be liable for non-compliance of this order within the stipulated period.

6. With the aforesaid direction, this writ application stands disposed of.
