In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Doriganj P.S. Case No. 272 of 2018, registered for the offence under Sections 341, 323, 307, 324, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the F.I.R. on 07.11.2018 at about 6:30 pm. on the eve of Diwali, while the children of the informant were playing with crackers at his door, at that time, the petitioner came and forbade the children by saying that his house would catch the fire. Whereafter, there was an exchange of word between the brother of the petitioner and the informant and in that course the petitioner inflicted knife blow on the stomach of the brother of the informant.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected. However, if the petitioner surrenders before the Court below within three weeks from today and prays for regular bail, the Court below will consider the same and pass appropriate order without being influenced by the order of this Court.
