The petitioner apprehends her arrest in connection with Khagaria (Mahila) P.S. Case no. 12 of 2014, registered under Sections 420 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of D.P. Act. The accusation is that informant Ranjeet Kumar Yadav settled the marriage of his daughter with Uday Kumar, son of Uttam Yadav and also gave cash and articles as a gift to him, but later on Uttam Yadav and his family members named in the F.I.R. refused to perform marriage of Uday Kumar with his daughter. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is wife of Uttam Yadav and she has falsely been implicated in this case without any specific allegation. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case,

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.20273 of 2017 (3) dt.01-08-2017 2/2 let the above named petitioner, be released on bail, in the event of her arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Khagaria in connection with Khagaria (Mahila) P.S. Case No.12 of 2014, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C. (Rajendra Kumar Mishra, J) manish/- U T
