2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Bahadurganj P.S. Case No. 197 of 2024, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 137(2), 98, 99 and 3(5) of B.N.S.S., 2023.

The case of the prosecution, in short, is that the informant Kailu Lal Harijan has alleged in the FIR that on 14.07.2024 at about 01:00 P.M., his minor daughter Madhu Kumari (fourteen years) was playing outside the house. Chandan Kumar (the petitioner herein) arrived on a black motorcycle and stared at the minor with lustful eyes. He further alleged that the co-accused Parshu Ram forcibly made the minor

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No. 24467 of 2025(2) dt.06-05-2025 2/2 sit on motorcycle and fled with her. The informant sent his son to chase but could not catch. It is also alleged that the family members of the accused including the petitioner are also involved into conspiracy to kidnap the girl with intention of selling her.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. He also submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent. He further contends that his name has been implicated simply because he happens to be friend of Parshu Ram, who as per the petitioner is alleged to have kidnapped the minor girl.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer of anticipatory bail.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and the nature of allegations i.e. of kidnapping the minor girl directly levelled against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the present anticipatory bail application stands rejected.
