2. A prayer for bail has been made on behalf of the petitioner in connection with Suiya P.S. Case no.83 of 2025 registered under sections 316(2), 318(4), 328, 336(3), 340(2) and 3(5) of BNS.
3. Allegation in the F.I.R is that 1357.25 quintals of paddy worth Rs.31,55,606/- had been dishonestly misappropriated and embezzled by the Chairman (petitioner), Manager and Member of the Primary Agricultural Credit Cooperative Society Limited.
4. Learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner submits
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.28583 of 2026(3) dt.10-06-2026 2/3 that the petitioner happens to be the Chairman of the PACS Committee and there is general and omnibus allegation of misappropriation of 1357.25 quintals of paddy worth Rs.31,55,606/- against accused persons. It has further been submitted that the petitioner is not responsible for the said offence and rather the Manager Sikandar Yadav is responsible. Nevertheless, the petitioner on his own deposited a sum of Rs.6, 90,000/- which has been stated in paragraph no.10 of the petition and the bank statement has also been annexed as Annexure-P/3. It has also been submitted that petitioner is suffering from physical ailments and the medical report to that effect has also been annexed as Annexure-P/4. The petitioner, having no criminal antecedent, has now remained in custody since 07.02.2026 and undertakes to cooperate in the case/trial. Charge-sheet has been submitted in the case.
5. The application for bail is opposed by learned A.P.P. for the State.

Taking into consideration the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the fact that there are general and omnibus allegation of misappropriation of food grains and the petitioner being the Chairman of the PACS Committee has deposited a substantial amount, coupled with the

No.28583 of 2026(3) dt.10-06-2026 3/3 fact that charge-sheet has been submitted and petitioner is an old man suffering from physical ailments, the petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail in connection with Suiya P.S. Case no.83 of 2025 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court concerned where the case is pending/successor Court.
