The present writ application has been filed by the petitioner for quashing Advertisement no. NITP/ Rect./01/2019 dated 08.03.2019, published by N.I.T. for appointment of Faculty Members on the ground that the advertised Credit Point System ignores the relevant parameters of the quality/ importance of candidate's research publications and the same is violative of Article 14 of the Constitution of India by not satisfying the Wednesbury's test of reasonableness. 3.
Learned Senior counsel for the N.I.T. submits that the present writ application has become infructuous, inasmuch as the appointment, pursuant to impugned advertisement has
