The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 7 of the Essential Commodities Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has antecedent of three cases and the informant alleges that on instruction of P.D.S. shop of the petitioner, it was found that he indulged in balck-marketing of 48.659 quintal of wheat and 69.70 quintal of rice, further 200 litres of kerosene oil was also found which he had to distribute in the month of January itself, but the same was kept for black-marketing. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case, it is

No.25333 of 2022(2) dt.11-11-2022 2/2 next submitted that his license has been suspended and the show cause has been issued for explaining the allegation based on the inquiry, it is further submitted that since the license of the petitioner has been suspended he has already suffered. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner.

Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner above-named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned trial court within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned trial court where the case is pending/successor court in connection with Salimpur P.S. Case No. 22 of 2022 subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C.
