JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 17-02-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioners seek pre-arrest bail in connection with Bihar P.S. Case No.539 of 2017 registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 307, 353 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code. Regard being had to the allegations that in order to rescue two persons arrested for illegal mining of sand, the petitioners attacked upon the police party causing hurt to some police-men, I am not inclined to grant them pre-arrest bail. Accordingly, the application for grant of pre-arrest bail

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.9175 of 2018 (2) dt.17-02-2018 2/2 is rejected.

In case the petitioners surrender and seek bail, the same shall be considered on its own merits without being prejudiced in any manner by this order.
