JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 03-11-2023 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1.That, this is an application for issuance of appropriate writ(s), order(s), direction(s) to the respondent to make the correction of petitioner date of birth as 16.11.1968 in place of 16.01.1967 in view of petitioner has appeared in the Bihar School Examination Board, Patna in the year of 1987 from the Nand Kishore Madhwanand High School Sah Alam Nagar, Madhepura being registration no. 442001/4437 year 1986 Roll Code 1418 Roll No. 255 and who has passed

Patna High Court CWJC No.11162 of 2021(2) dt.03-11-2023 2/3 Matriculation Examination with the Second Division and certificate has been issued by which wrongly date of birth has mention as 16.01.1968 in place of 16.11.1968 on the ground of in all documents petitioner date of birth has mention 16.11.1968 as in registration no. 44200/4437 admit card and school documents and also in view of petitioner had filed the representation before Secretary of the Bihar School Examination Board, Patna with Board fee and Head Master has also sent the same document for the correction of the petitioner date of birth which is pending before Secretary of the Bihar School Examination Board, Patna and after correction the date of Birth further give the direction to issue the fresh certificate to the petitioner. In the meantime petitioner has joined the Government Service in IV grade."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the respondent authorities for redressal of his subsisting grievances, if any.

Patna High Court CWJC No.11162 of 2021(2) dt.03-11-2023 3/3 Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
