In this case, the petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Kanti P.S. Case No. 76 of 2015 for offence under Section 395/397 of the Indian Penal Code.
An allegation has been made that some accused persons intercepted the truck bearing registration no. MP09 KC9313 depicting them to be belonging to the Sales Tax Department, asked them to show the document of the materials which is on transit and, later on, the driver and Khalasi were assaulted. They became senseless. The accused persons took away the truck including money and mobile phone. During investigation, the name of the petitioner has transpired.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.26848 of 2016 (2) dt.04-07-2016 Looking to the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner, namely, Rajesh Kumar is rejected. (Shivaji Pandey, J) Rishi/- U T
