2. The following order was passed in Cr. Misc. No. 17671 of 2023 on 18.07.2024 which reads as under: "Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr. Ranjeet Kumar, learned APP for the State and Mr. Anjani Kumar Jha, learned counsel for the opposite party no.2.

2. A joint compromise petition has been filed by the parties (Shilpi Kumari & Ashish Ranjan) and the parties have agreed to settle their disputes.

3. In view of the above, this application is allowed. The order dated 17.06.2022, passed by the learned SubDivisional Judicial Magistrate, Patna in Complaint Case No. 4184 (C) of 2022 is hereby quashed.

4. It has been jointly submitted by the parties that the Matrimonial Case No. 481 of 2024 is pending in the Court of Principal Judge, Family Court, Patna under Section 13B of the Hindu Marriage Act.

5. The Principal Judge, Family Court, Patna is directed to conclude the same at the earliest and he will also consider the application of the parties for waiver of the six months period in accordance with law. The waiver application must be decided within a week of its filing.

6. Let a copy of this order be communicated to the Principal Judge, Family Court, Patna through FAX or e-mail forthwith."

3. The petitioners in the earlier case were the fatherin-law and mother-in-law. The matter has been settled between the petitioner and the opposite party no. 2, which is apparent from the order dated 18.07.2024. Learned counsel for the petitioner and the opposite party no. 2 has supported the compromise.

4. In these circumstance, this application is allowed.

5. Accordingly, the prosecution of the petitioner pursuant to the order dated 17.06.2022 passed by the Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Patna in Complaint Case No. 4184 (C) of 2022, is hereby quashed.
