JUSTICE BIRENDRA PRASAD VERMA ORAL ORDER 03-07-2015 Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has fairly submitted that the claims of the petitioner are essentially against Bharti Airtel Limited, a private company. Admittedly, the aforesaid private company is not the State within the meaning of Article 12 of the Constitution of India. Therefore, the present writ petition is not maintainable and is, accordingly, dismissed.
However, the petitioner may approach the appropriate forum/court in an appropriate proceeding for grant of appropriate relief against the aforesaid Bharti Airtel Company Ltd., New Delhi.
