2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 414 and 429 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 11 of Animal Cruelty Act, 1960.
3. As per the prosecution case, nine cattle were recovered from the pickup vehicle of which petitioner is owner.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has been made accused in this case merely because he happens to be the owner of the vehicle in question. In fact, at the relevant time the vehicle in question was being driven by other person and this petitioner had no knowledge about the goods loaded over it. Petitioner has got no concern with the alleged occurrence and he was not present at the place of occurrence.

5. Learned counsel for the State opposes the bail petition of the petitioner.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, in the event of arrest or surrender within six weeks from today, let the petitioner, as named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned C.J.M., Araria in connection with Raniganj P.S. case No. 369 of 2023 subject to the conditions laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
