The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Ramgarh P.S. Case No.240 of 2016 registered under Sections 304B and 201 of the Indian Penal Code.

Considering the allegation made in the first information report that the petitioner killed his wife and disposed of the dead body, I am not inclined to grant him bail even though he is in custody since 17.01.2017, as the trial is at an advanced stage and out of the five prosecution witnesses two have already been examined. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected at this stage.

The trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same as early as possible preferably within a
