The matter has been listed under the heading 'For Orders' under the orders of Hon'ble the Chief Justice. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.

The petitioner seeks bail in Agamkuan P.S. Case No. 209 of 2013 (Sessions Trial No. 311 of 2014) instituted for the offences under Sections 302, 120(B), 34 of the Indian Penal Code and 27 of the Arms Act.

The earlier bail application of the petitioner was rejected vide Annexure-1 to the present application taking into account that the petitioner has got nine criminal cases pending

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.22423 of 2020(4) dt.07-12-2020 2/2 against him.

A report was called for from the Trial Court. It has been reported that the case is at the stage of argument for the defence and at present the matter is not being heard due to Covid-19 Pandemic. It has further been reported that once the normalcy is restored, the trial of the case could be concluded within a period of six months.

On behalf of the informant, an affidavit has been filed where it has been stated that the bail of the co-accused Randhir Kumar Singh had already been rejected vide order dated 02.11.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 22521 of 2020. Considering the nature of accusation and the stage of the case, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The same is rejected. The Trial Court is directed to take all necessary steps to conclude the trial preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order for the reasons that the petitioner is in custody since 25.07.2013.
