The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Sugauli P.S. Case No. 280 of 2016, registered under Sections 120(B), 218, 418, 420, 465, 466, 471, 323, 504, 506 and 394/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
The accusation is of inserting the name of Rikhi Koiri in place of Jaychand Sahani regarding Jamawandi No. 374 of village Madhopur Nijamat, P.S. Sugauli, East Champaran, by petitioner being the Halka Karamchakari.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there was no indication in the Jamawandi, on which date, the name of
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.15436 of 2017 (3) dt.10-07-2017 Rikhi Koiri is mentioned in place of Jaychand Sahani. Moreover, on the application of the complainant, the Circle Officer has directed to correct the name of Jaychand Sahani. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioner be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, East Champaran at Motihari, in connection with Sugauli P.S. Case No. 280 of 2016, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
