Mr. Upendra Pratap Singh, Advocate ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR and HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE JITENDRA KUMAR ORAL JUDGMENT (Per: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR) Date : 04-08-2022 Heard Mr. Arvind Kumar Singh, the learned Advocate for the petitioner and Mr. Upendra Pratap Singh, the learned counsel for the State.
2. Though the license of the petitioner had expired in the year 2021, but she received a notice to deposit the requisite amount for renewal of the same on 26.03.2022. The aforesaid notice indicated that she ought
Patna High Court CWJC No.7057 of 2022 dt.04-08-2022 2/2 to make payment of the requisite amount by 29.03.2022. The petitioner appears to have furnished the documents as well as the requisite fee only a day after, i.e., on 30.03.2022, which has not been accepted by the authority and her license has not been renewed.
3. We find that there is sufficient explanation for such delayed deposit of renewal fee as also necessary documents.
4. We are, thus, of the considered view that the licensing authority may take a fresh view in the matter with respect to renewal of the license of the petitioner within a period of sixty (60) days from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
5. The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly.
