Petitioner has prayed for the following relief(s): "That this Public Interest Litigation application is being filed on behalf of the petitioner, the Elected representation of Gram Panchayat Raj, Uttarnawan, Block- Rahui, Police Station-Rahui, District-Nalanda for issuance of an appropriate order/order/ direction/directions/writ in the nature of
Patna High Court CWJC No.7211 of 2020(3) dt.13-08-2020 2/3 mandamus directing and commanding to the Respondents to issue all the welfare Scheme for peoples of Gram Panchayat Raj, Uttarnawan, Block- Rahui, Police Station- Rahui, DistrictNalanda. At this critical moment Covid-19. The Respondent Nos.3 to 5 have not started any welfare schemes such as Sanitizer of village, Distribution of Mask, Dettol, Bleaching Powder, Virdha Pension, Kabir Antiyasti Yojana, Link Road, Panchayat Bhawan, Faccs Bhawan, Indira Awas Yojana, Nal-Jul Yojana, benefits of Dahar- Sukhar, Diesel Anudan etc. in Gram Panchayat Raj Uttarnawan, BlockRahui, Police Station- Rahui, District- Nalanda. However, Respondent Nos. 3 to 5 have already started all the welfare schemes in all Gram Panchayat Raj under Block- Rahui, Police Station- Rahui, District- Nalanda."
After the matter was heard for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner shall be content if a direction is issued to the concerned respondents to consider and decide the representation (Annexure-13), within a period of four weeks.
Learned counsel for the respondents states that the representation (Annexure-13) shall be dealt with in accordance with law, expeditiously and positively within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Equally, liberty is reserved to the petitioner to take recourse to such alternative remedies as are otherwise available in accordance with law.
We are hopeful that as and when petitioner takes
Patna High Court CWJC No.7211 of 2020(3) dt.13-08-2020 3/3 recourse to such remedies, as are otherwise available in law, before the appropriate forum, the same shall be dealt with, in accordance with law and with reasonable dispatch.
