The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Bettiah Town P. S. Case No. 204 of 2017 registered under Sections 304-B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Regard being had to the gravity of the offence and the allegation that the petitioner strangulated his wife to death within two years of marriage, I am not inclined to grant him prearrest bail. Accordingly, the application for grant of pre-arrest bail is rejected.
