=========================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 20-07-2017 From the show-cause filed by the respondents, it is seen that based on the aid received by the Government from time to time, most of the claims of not only the petitioner but various other employees of the University have been settled. However, it is pointed out by learned counsel for the petitioner that with regard to the petitioner's claims, except for payment of Leave Encashment, all other dues have been paid to him.
Keeping in view the aforesaid, for the present, without initiating any action for contempt, it is directed that in the matter of settlement of petitioner's claim for Leave Encashment, on the
Patna High Court MJC No.4917 of 2014 dt.20-07-2017 2/2 petitioner filing a detailed representation in this regard, the respondent Registrar of the University shall settle the claim of the petitioner in accordance to law as per his entitlement within a period of two months of submission of the representation. In case for any reason whatsoever the Registrar of B.R.A. Bihar University, Muzaffarpur feels that the petitioner is not entitled for the same, it shall be incumbent upon the Registrar to record reasons for the same and communicate it to the petitioner.
With the aforesaid, the contempt application stands disposed of.
