Let the defect(s), if any, be removed within a period of four weeks from today.
The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Motihari Muffasil P.S. Case No. 274 of 2021, G.R. No. 3101 of 2021 registered for the offence under Sections 384, 387, 120-B and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.
The present case has been filed by the written statement of the informant Devanand Sah alleging therein that on 28.05.2021, in the evening he received a call in which he was demanded extortion of Rs. 10 lacs.
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.25797 of 2023(2) dt.19-05-2023 2/2 The SIM from which the informant received the phone call belongs to the petitioner and he has four criminal antecedents also.
In view of the facts and circumstances, as mentioned above, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer of bail of the petitioner is rejected.
