The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498A of I.P.C. and 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

Petitioner is husband of the opposite party No.2. Allegation is of demand of dowry and torture for the same. Learned counsel for opposite party No.2 submits that the order of interim maintenance passed by the competent court is not being complied by the petitioner. Petitioner has challenged the same.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.26672 of 2020(3) dt.26-02-2021 2/2 Considering the nature of allegation against the petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge him on anticipatory bail in connection with Complaint Case No.1234C/2016 pending in the court of learned S.D.J.M., Nalanda (Biharsharif). Hence, prayer is refused.
