6. Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.
7. From perusal of the FIR and impugned order of the learned 2nd District and Additional Sessions Judge, Purnea dated 19.02.2026, it appears that this is the fourth attempt for regular bail of this petitioner. Earlier three bail petition of this petitioner was already rejected by this Court. From perusal of the report regarding stage of trial from the Court of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate- 1st, Purnea vide letter no. 221 of 2026 dated 21.04.2026, it appears that charge has been framed against this petitioner under Section 25(1-B)a/26 of the Arms Act on 23.07.2025 but the trial Court did not disclosed how many prosecution witnesses have been examined and the expected duration for concluding the trial is almost three months. Petitioner is under custody for more than almost two years and three months, so considering all these aspects of the case and submission of learned counsel for the petitioner, I am
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.26422 of 2026(3) dt.15-05-2026 3/3 inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner.
8. Accordingly the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner is allowed. Let the petitioner above named be released on regular bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.C.J.M.-1, Purnea in connection with Session Sadar P.S.
