For issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus commanding the Executive Engineer, Rural Works Department to get the encroachment removed from the village Jagatauli Main Road constructed by Rural Works Division, Gopalganj under Prime

b. For a direction upon the Executive Engineer, Rural Works Division, Gopalganj to file an application before the Anchal Adhikari, Bhore to initiate a proceeding under section 3 of Bihar Public Land Encroachment Act, for the removal of encroachment upon Jagatauli Main Road.

c. For issuance of an appropriate writ and/or writs in the nature of Certiorari to quash the impugned order passed by Additional Collector, Public Complaint Grievances Redressal, Dist.

Gopalganj CUM First Appellate Authority dated 17.12.2021 and order dated 31.03.2022 passed by the Second Appellate AuthorityCUM-District Officer, Gopalganj." 2.

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ

Patna High Court CWJC No.6623 of 2023(2) dt.17-10-2023 3/3 petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, for redressal of the aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.
