That the present writ petition is being filed on behalf of the petitioner for issuance of a writ in the nature of a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents for renewal of Arms License of the petitioner bearing License No.

1647/1981 issued by Kotwali Police Station, Kotwali, Patna with respect to N.P. Bore Rifle No. A.B.81-2442 as

Patna High Court CWJC No.6162 of 2024(2) dt.01-07-2024 2/3 well as for issuance of fresh permission with regard to Cartridge and for further order/orders, relief/reliefs for which the facts and circumstances of the case the petitioner entitled too."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks a direction upon the District Magistrate, Kaimur at Bhabua to dispose off the application filed by the petitioner on 18.03.2024, for renewal of Arms License, within a stipulated time frame.

Per contra, the learned counsel for the respondent-State submits that in case such application filed by the petitioner for renewal of Arms License is still pending, the same would definitely be disposed off within a stipulated time frame, as is fixed by this Court.

Having regard to the limited prayer made by the petitioner in the present writ petition, I deem it fit and proper to direct the District Magistrate, Kaimur at Bhabua to dispose off the aforesaid application filed by the petitioner for renewal of Arms License, in case the same has

Patna High Court CWJC No.6162 of 2024(2) dt.01-07-2024 3/3 actually been filed and is still pending consideration, by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
