The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Nirmali P.S. Case No.119 of 2015 registered under Sections 452 and 376/34 of the Indian Penal Code as well as Sections 3(1)(x) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989.

Regard being had to the direct and specific allegations that the petitioner and co-accused Manik Lal Sah raped the informant of the case on the point of pistol in presence of her daughter, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is rejected.
