The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498A of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. Petitioner is husband of opposite party no. 2. There is allegation of demand of dowry and torture for the same including marriage with some other lady.
Reconciliation has already failed as per report of the Mediator. The petitioner is not ready to pay maintenance of Rs.3,000/- for opposite party no. 2 and her minor son. Considering the facts and circumstances, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail in connection
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.15422 of 2017 (4) dt.11-07-2017 2/2 with Munger Complaint Case No. 764(C) of 2015 pending in the court of learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Munger. Hence, prayer for bail is refused.
