The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 272, 273, 411 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 30(a), 32, 41 of the Excise Act, 2016. Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.26062 of 2022(2) dt.14-06-2022 2/2 submitted in the case and has antecedent of three cases. Allegation is of recovery of 808.200 litre of liquor from a pick-up van.
The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is neither the owner nor the driver of the vehicle and he has been falsely implicated in the present case. The learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the bail application.
Considering the fact that the petitioner is in custody, charge-sheet has been submitted in the case, the petitioner, above-named, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail-bonds in the sum of Rs. 3,000/- (Rupees Three Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Sahebpur Kamal P. S. Case No.88 of 2019. The application stands allowed.
