2. The petitioners apprehend their arrest in a case registered for offence under Sections 304(B) & 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. It is a case of 'dowry death'.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioner no. 1 is Devar and petitioner no. 2 is father-in-law of the deceased. Petitioners are separate in mess & property and have got no concern with the affairs of the couple. Informant is not eye-witness to the occurrence and only on suspicion, they have been made accused. Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.27556 of 2024(7) dt.19-09-2024 2/2 allegation. In fact, the deceased was an eccentric lady and always used to quarrel with her husband and as such, due to family feud, she committed suicide.

5. However, learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail and submits that petitioners are named in the F.I.R. and there is specific allegation of demand of dowry and committing torture against them. Deceased died within seven years of marriage at her matrimonial house in an unnatural circumstances.

6. Considering the same, the prayer for anticipatory bail of petitioners is rejected.
