1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. That this writ petition has been filed in the nature of mandamus for commanding the respondents for a direction/directions, order/orders on the basis of order of Secretary, Planning and Development (Earth and Statistic) in accordance with law against the respondents no.6, Ex-Incharge District Statistical Officer, Bhagalpur, Shambhu Rai on the basis of order of the Hon'ble Court vide CWJC No.2042/2022 and

Patna High Court CWJC No.8122 of 2024(2) dt.25-07-2024 2/3 on the basis of order of Secretary, Planning and Development Department, under Economics and Statistics Directorate, Govt. of Bihar, Patna dated 7th April, 2022 vide Gyapank no.127 dated 7.4.2022. petitioner prays for the following direction/ directions, order/orders from this Hon'ble Court as given below.

(i) To issue the direction to the respondents i.e. respondent no.3 to initiate the departmental proceeding and conclude it under Bihar CCA Rules 2005 within stimulated time on the basis of framing of charge.

(ii) To issue the direction on the basis of direction of this Hon'ble Court passed in CWJC No.2042/2022 disposed of on 11.2.2022 by Division bench of this Hon'ble Court by the then Hon'ble the Chief Justice and Hon'ble Mr. Justice S. Kumar."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the respondent-State submits, by referring to paragraphs no.5 to 8 of the counter affidavit filed in the present case, that the departmental proceedings had already been initiated against the private respondent no.6, whereafter the same has also been completed and he has been awarded punishment vide Memo dated 10.06.2024, hence the grievances of the petitioner has stood redressed.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that if it be so, the present writ petition be disposed off.

4. Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
