1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1.(i) For issuance of writ in the nature of Certiorari for quashing of the order dated 18.02.2020 passed in Appeal vide District Sheohar Case No. 154/2018 whereby and whereunder the District Magistrate has dismissed the appeal filed by the petitioner against the order dated 21.08.2018 passed in Misc. Case No. 10/2018 passed by the District Programme Officer, Sheohar whereby and whereunder the District Magistrate, Sheohar has cancelled the petitioner's

Patna High Court CWJC No.6996 of 2022(2) dt.12-12-2023 2/2 selection from the post of Anganwari Sevika of Ward No. 8 within Barahi Jagdishpur Panchayat which come under the project of Purnahiya without appreciating the fact that while petitioner's selection has been cancelled by the District Programme Officer, she has not been heard and also the complaint against her selection has not been made by any of the candidate who applied for the same.

(ii) For further quashing of the order dated 21.08.2018 passed in Misc. Case No. 10/2018 by the District Programme Officer, Sheohar whereby and where under the District Programme Officer has cancelled the selection of the petitioner from the post of Anganwari Sevika at Ward No. 8.

(iii) For further direction to the Respondent authorities to reinstate the petitioner on the post of Anganwari Sevika w.e.f. 21.08.2018 with all consequential benefits admissible to her accordance with law."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, for redressal of her aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.
